ZCCM Investments Holdings Plc (ZCCM-IH) recorded a 40% rise in investment income to ZMW3.4 billion in 2025, supported by increased royalty earnings from Kansanshi following the S3 expansion and dividend income from Maamba Energy and CEC. The value of its investment portfolio also increased to US$1.91 billion, reflecting stronger performance across key assets, particularly CEC and Mopani. However, the company reported a ZMW4.92 billion Group loss, mainly because the exceptional gain from the 2024 Mopani transaction was not repeated, alongside the impact of valuation changes, finance costs, foreign exchange movements and the Trafigura arbitration provision. And ZCCM-IH Chief Executive Officer Kakenenwa Muyangwa said 2025 was a year of execution and delivery, with the company focused on converting strategic investments into sustainable cash returns.
